A two-step water-based crackle medium that dries clear, making it ideal for creating a smaller mosaic look for smaller crackles on porcelain or an aged, crackled effect over painted decorative designs or plain base coated surfaces.
It is great for acrylic and picture crackling techniques.
It is recommended to use a dry brush horizontally for even distribution.
The Eggs Crackle Steps 1 & 2 is great for providing a superb finish to home decor, gifts and lots of other crafting projects.
How to use:
Apply one coat of the base coat (step 1) evenly to the surface and allow to dry, then apply one coat of the step 2 evenly.
Fine cracks will appear on drying. Enhance the cracks by rubbing in artist's oil paint.
Wipe off excess oil, allow to dry for 24 hours.
For finishing, spraying with varnish is recommended.
